This was my first time, yes first time, reading/listening to Wilde’s The Canterville Ghost and I think I was lucky to listen to this fabulous Naxos Audiobooks edition, wonderfully narrated by Rupert Degas (which is saying something as I find most narrators doing a horrible job) and perfectly enhanced by music and “creepy” sounds. I just wish I had saved it for Halloween (though I might do a reread next month). 
Yes, it is about a ghost but it’s a very fun and cozy read! Looking forward to the end of October, candle light, hot cocoa and my Canterville ghost… 💜
