libreroaming 's review for:
Sometimes We Tell the Truth
by Kim Zarins
I really enjoyed this from a meta perspective, it made me want to revisit The Canterbury Tales again to compare the two. Zarins obviously put a lot of thought and care into it. I would hesitate giving it to a reader who wants a straightforward story though, as Jeff and Pard's tempestous relationship doesn't really stand on its own when interspersed between multiple stories of wildly different tones.
That said, the bus driver gave the best one.
