After reading Yellow Crocus, I was delighted to see there was a second book and it definitely did not disappoint. This one picks up about 10 years later after Lisbeth moved to Ohio. Although they don’t see one another more than about once a year, Mattie and Lisbeth both find themselves surprisingly back in Virginia at the same time but for different reasons. Their love, loyalty, bravery, pain is undeniable and they need each other to navigate the circumstances they find themselves in. Both these books are amazingly written and I felt the characters and stories so much! Can’t wait to read the third book!
