I loved loved loved LOVED this book. The sherlock-holmes-type investigator is a middle-aged woman with multiple sclerosis whose disability affects her day but isn't the only personality she's given. Her partner is a gender fluid bi woman who grew up in the circus. The story takes place in 1940's NYC but is full of amazing, funny, complex women who get to run the show. It was amazing and fun and funny and I can't wait to read the next one.

I love the disability representation. I love the sexuality representation. I love the class divide representation. I love the gender representation. But i don't think a single character wasn't white.
