The Raven King by Nora Sakavic

5.0

10th time read!

Oh my god. I was a little iffy after the first book, but now I 100% understand the hype. That book was incredible. **MINOR SPOILERS AHEAD**

First, the character development. Neil. My poor baby Neil. Seeing him go from someone that would do anything to keep these people at arm length to finally accepting these people as not only his team and friends, but also his family was incredible. His willingness to stand up to Riko and his fucked up team is incredible. And his desire to see beyond Andrew's mask and try to understand him is amazing. They just need to get together. Speaking of my psychotic love, holy crap. Everything that happened with him this book destroyed me. I kind of predicted a little of it, but not to that extent. Watching his relationship with Neil develop was incredible. Neil's ability to reason with him, and Andrew trusting him to drive his car and to know what Renee told him. Such amazing development. Also I can't wait to see him fully off his meds!! I'm kind of nervous though... Also Andrew and Aaron's relationship is slowly growing and I can't wait to see them hopefully patch things up! All the other characters were great as well and I loved the more detailed backgrounds we got about characters such as Renee, Matt, and Dan!

Second, Riko and the Ravens. WHAT THE FUCK!?!? LITERALLY INSANE! I can't even write more than this because I'm so emotional and angry about this group of people.

Third, what a great ending and holy crap I don't know how this is going to end, but I am not ready.

I'm honestly freaking out so much right now since I literally just finished this book not even five minutes ago. I'm an emotional wreck and I need to start the last book right now.
