A very, very slow book.
Absolutely no romance to be had the entire book.
Very much a bullying type of fated mates.
That being said, I enjoyed learning about the history of the Unseelie Court. What happens when denying the fates and the Unreen creatures.
I hope the next book dives more into why so many witches would turn from their old ways and become those poisonous creatures.
I also hope we see some major grovelling and begging from Soren to Rooke. Perhaps a nice sprinkle of jealousy would go a long nicely ๐.
Looking forward to book 2. ๐๐ป
Sad it was delayed a month, I planned this so I could read it seamlessly to the next book.
