It’s quite slow I will admit and also the names r a bit confusing in the beginning but towards the end it’s easier to pick up/get it but once u get into it, it’s kinda impossible to stop like I was looking forward to read I will admit
The “torture” chamber and all that lake stuff was confusing cuz I get it was all in the opera but was likeee how big is this place and the stealing money I know they explained it well at the end but still I was thinking ummm that’s still questionable
But I suppose that’s the whole point to give Erik a sort of omnipresent feeling either way I enjoyed the book a lot.
Also saw someone mention the 2 owners were zesty and I 100% agree the naivety was sometimes frustrating but the were so dumb it was kinda funny especially when they arguing
