Blazewrath Games

This book made me ugly cry by the end and then went "oh no, let's not end this entirely on a sad note" so I ended up doing the "I'm crying because my heart is broken but this is also infuriating but also kind of cute and hopeful" thing instead. And I thought this would be a fun, cutesy adventure with dragons. Instead I get a wonderful world with a magic system I'm desperate to know more about, characters I love (um...Samira is the best??), a lot of twists and turns I didn't expect and so much effortless diversity in this beautiful found family that warmed my heart.
There were definitely parts where I felt the story moved too fast, which isn't exactly a bad thing because it's just my need to hang around a little longer! Which is why, when I just read there's gonna be a second book I did a little excited squeal!
