While I enjoyed this novel, it felt almost like a let down after reading I'll Give You the World. That being said, this story is one of grief and of loss, but also one of overcoming. It opens a reader up to experience and thought, and acknowledges that people deal with grief differently. While not a masterpiece it is a story that has the potential to stand the test of time
