this one feels really difficult for me to rate. the first two thirds of the book i think are perfect. i have so many underlines in this book it started to feel like i would’ve annotated every sentence. i learned so much and Orange stated things in such a clear and concise manner while being emotional and smart and poignant. i thought it excelled at what it was trying to do. i had a difficult time with the ending and the direction the book took and it felt like it almost was trying to retract from itself. maybe i missed major elements, but it’s a book i would reread again and again to hopefully capture it all.
