I don't know where to start with this. I wasn't prepared for the numerous explicit sexual scenes, which didn't add much to the plot.

I wasn't particularly fond of the main characters either: I found Lowen irritating and superficial, Jeremy, too good to be true (and I question his reasoning for specifically asking for Lowen to continue his wife's series of books), Verity, coming through as too full of herself, selfish, etc.

It was an interesting plot (if you take out all the sexual scenes), though a bit too farfetched for my liking, but I guess plots for thrillers usually are.

Will I read any more Colleen Hoover books? Probably not for a while. This story definitely took me out of my comfort zone and wasn't for me.

Have you read it? If so, what did you think of it? Have you read any other Colleen Hoover books? Did you enjoy reading them?
