Yeah, this one wasn't great. The plot twist at the end was so obvious that I knew what it was from the first time Katria's mother's book was mentioned. Davien was fine, but he really falls in love with Katrina over nothing, their romance really did nothing for me. The action is sort of all over the place and over quickly. I did love all of the side characters though. 
Also the narrator's voice was really dull and emotionless to me when she was narrating, which is a shame because she was great when she was actually speaking as Katria.
