Let’s just say that I had a shitty week and this book made me not want to rip my hair out of my scalp. I think, because of a slight book slump, that the book felt very long and boring at times. Nevertheless, I love both Emily and Wendell, so this was mostly a delight to read. What I love the most about this series is how witty and atmospheric the writing is. The idea of writing these books in journal form was very clever, especially with a character as unique and entertaining as Emily. I can’t wait to get my hands on the last book!
