Spoiler free thoughts: This was such a fantastic story, with twists and turns and so much at stake! I really loved this one and I think that this is a series you should explore if you like the idea of a cozy fantasy world with sapphic protagonists.
General fun things about this book: wedding planning, family drama, asexual rep, reuniting with loved ones, spies and plotting
Okay spoilers (since this is the third book):LETS GOOOOO LESBIANS (to overthrow the queeeeeeeen) - this was such a long time coming and I'm glad we got to see the fall of Tilaine. I wasn't expecting the story to go where it went but I am so glad for it. I love our little group of queers and how they're growing larger and how Tawney feels like such a great home now. But also as someone who is starting to plan a wedding I am glad I'm not overthrowing any rules at the same time!
Also secondary note, LOVED this discussion on religion and Reyna's realisation about the gods. I love interesting religious talk especially in fantasy and this did not disappoint. It felt like the world was really thought out and wasn't just thrown together.
