This was a very gripping conclusion to this series, I could hardly stop reading with the fast paced plot and revelations. I have to say though that the finale was a bit disappointing, I kind of expected more after all that building up, it seemed kinda short. Also vague endings aren't my favourites but it was still okay.
All in all this was an enjoyable series, especially after book one. I just would have liked it if other characters had been involved more as I really enjoyed many of the side characters and thought there was some missed potential (I'd loved to see more of Stefania and on the relationship between Falchi and di Santis).
