I'm typically not a graphic novel reader, so I'm not sure I'm a great judge of this. however, I really enjoyed my read! I thought it was pretty scary for kids (and me) especially with such a fantastical cast of characters and storyline. I thought my imagination stretched in a fun way and I already have the next one on hold at the library.
