Midnight Bayou by Nora Roberts

4.0

Nora is always a fun read, and made more so in this case by a setting pretty much bound to be enticing: a gigantic crumbling (but being restored!) mansion in the bayou just outside New Orleans. Complete with alligators and moonlight and, of course, ghosts. I've never been to New Orleans (yet!), but from what I've read, I don't think there's a square inch in the whole city (and all its surrounding bayou country) that *isn't* haunted. Ça c’est bon!
