Orpheus is adorable. His loneliness and despair is so strong and present, especially in the beginning. I love that he's an actually monstrous monster. He's physically very different from humans and he stays dangerous.
The technical aspects of this book have room for improvement, but I found the developing relationship between Orpheus and Reia to be so compelling that it wasn't too difficult to overlook.
