Consumed: The Need for Collective Change: Colonialism, Climate Change & Consumerism by Aja Barber
informative

I enjoyed this, and think it's a really good introduction and overview of the issues of consumerism, capitalism, and the fast-fashion crisis. Aja's writing is easy to read, with the book reading almost like an extended version of one of her blog posts or instagram captions, so this would be a good first book on this topic for someone that doesn't read a great deal of non-fiction books.
At times I did find the writing style didn't entirely suit me, and the round-table discussion in Chapter 2 particularly I actually found slightly difficult to read, but overall I think it's a good and accessible book, and I would recommend it.
