Gash Atlas by Jessica Lawson

I at once understand how and why this collection is so well-thought of, but it was simply not for me. At times I felt the experimental nature of certain poems was too sharply set against imagery and phrasing that were simply too on the nose, and thus I often found myself frustrated. Certain poems stood out and shone, but I was very happy to be done with the collection.
