Novelist as a Vocation by Haruki Murakami

Did not finish book. Stopped at 34%.
Murakami has deliberately isolated himself from the writing community and likes it. And now he's spent most of a book justifying it. Some interesting tidbits about his creative process but compared to something like Charlotte Wood's 'The Luminous Solution', which is enriched by years of being part of different writing communities, this fails to shine.
