More Than Enough by Jay McLean

Holy... This book is hardcore. I had to cry again - but just once. The reason for this is that this book gets boring at times. It covers a time period of more than a year so there are some scenes that seem to be familiar. Plus, there is a lot of talk about love.

So, first, let's talk about the writing style. There are some really hilarious scenes in this book, which was gerat and I had to smile and laugh a lot. Plus, I liked some of the talk about forgiveness, guilt and love but in the end, it was just too much for him. This is why I only wanted to give 3 stars in the beginning. But something was just new about this book, which is why I chose four in the end.

The plot is good, but as I said there are some repetitions. The book is organized into two main parts. The first one is mainly about the Riley's struggles and the second one about the Dylan's struggles. I was really disappointed with the second part but in the end I could understand most of it. He went through hell and so he pushed the love of his life away.

The characters... The only character I hated until the very end was Ry's mom. Seriously, I had no idea what her intentions were in the beginning and even though she is kind of nice in the middle and the end, I could not understand why she was doing what she was doing.
Riley is pretty awesome, especially when she sticks to Dylan. Nothing can get inbetween them and I love that resilience.
Dylan is really cool in the first part and in the second part, he just loses himself but I could understand his struggles and identify with him. Plus, Riley once says that if Dylan had approached her after Jer's death, she wouldn't have been able to accept him and I think that's true, so of course Dylan needed some time. Still, Riley is the love of his life so I don't fully get why he didn't just tell her, let her hold him...

Well, good book all in all. Looking forward to the stories of the others :D (cause again, I had to read another instalment first, pf...)
