Pedagogy of the Oppressed by Paulo Freire

i know i’m supposed to say this book was amazing and everyone should read it and wow and all that but i’m not going to lie i probably only understood half of it. now the half i did understand was cool and i could see so many of these ideas as parallel to other revolutionary ideas and theories and i want to understand as much as possible about eradicating oppression so thank you for those pieces but could have been an essay

i just don’t understand why this book is so dense and difficult to understand if the intent is to take a hit at inaccessible and inadequate education???
