Francine Rivers does it again! This book reminded me a lot of the book series by Janette Oke, ‘When Calls the Heart’, but I was pleasantly surprised by the plot and progression of the characters in this novel. The mystery of murder, dilemma of the differences between men and women, romance, edge-of-my-seat moments. I took my time reading this book, but I could have easily devoured it in a day.
