a teacher of mine recommended me this book, and i can't start to thank her enough. this book is jaw-droppingly beautiful and horrifying. there's no semblance of hope or joy in this world; you're only exposed to the dirty, ugly things, which is what this book proudly parades. there aren't enough words for me to properly describe how much i enjoyed this book.
