I downloaded the audiobook of Suns Will Rise as soon as it was available in my libro.fm account. It's been playing in my ear every waking moment for the past two days. Yall have seen these books. They're chonky. And now somehow the series is over and I'm trying to type this review through tears. I've enjoyed this series so much. It wasn't until book two that I understood exactly why. That's when I started to see parallels to The Hunger Games. And though, one is Dystopian and one is Scifi, the hearts of the story are the same. Both series, while being action-packed, are very character driven. Both series have similar lessons. And, that ending had lots of Katniss/Peeta energy. I wish we had got some of the aftermath of *everything* and more lead up to the epilogue but I'm satisfied with it. Eventually, I would like to do an entire series reread. I highly recommend the audiobooks.
