I was pleasantly surprised by this book. I had hoped the ending was how I hoped it would end. I’m glad it worked for the child’s sake. It’s a terrible read to think of what happened during the war with Germany. It was good with all the different point of views. Helped move the story along. Just wish then ending was a little more detailed. To finish it off with a small paragraph wasn’t enough to cure my curiosity.
