The Valley of Lost Children by David Barbur
4.0
This was a thoroughly enjoyble book. I honestly had trouble putting it down. The setting was enchanting with enough darkness to make it compelling, the characters were enjoyable though I think they could have been drawn out a bit better, the plot(s) were unique and took unexpected turns . It is my sincere hope they the author, David Barbur, brings back Tye Caine again and again. I want to know if he ever went back to Hattie about his problems - you have to answer that and Kaytie, despite what the others said, I felt the romantic tension, I thought they had "chemistry." She belongs in these stories and close (hint hint) to Tye.
Mr. Barbur you are onto something here, don't let it slip away.
