Before I get into it, I feel like this would be a very specific taste that not everyone would be into.

That being said, I really enjoyed it. Its a quick read, I finished it in half a day. It's also a fairly relaxing read, which is nice!

It's definitely a romance novel, and while I think it could have gone into the spicy scenes instead of fading to black, it's a good story. The premise of it is cute in its own right, but what got me is that it's probably the first romance novel I've read that doesn't really feel like a book. It's quite realistic in terms of characters, and I'm here for it.

There is no real drama, it's just the progression of a relationship. It moves quickly, but that's not super uncommon for a lot of people's relationships. I enjoyed how it grew from infrequent, impersonal messages to the relationship it did. It was written and executed well.

My only complaint is the timeline threw me off a bit. There were a couple times that it referenced how long they had been together and it didn't add up in my head based on what I had read. If that doesn't bother you, it's a cute casual read for sure!

I'd love to see a novel that follows her friend and her new lover, like it's hinted at at the end.
