When I was a kid, I just loved My Little Pony. I think it might have been my first obsession. So, I was pleased when they brought them back to live with Friendship is Magic, and although it didn't reach the levels of fun for me I had when I was younger it was always a trip down memory lane and very enjoyable.

I was very surprised, if not shocked, to find out that in this comic, apparently based on a movie, they are no longer ponies but girls going to high school. I was completely unprepared for this change and therefore it took a large portion of the comic for me to get used to the idea.

The story and the message are not unlike those seen in Friendship is Magic, but still I didn't enjoy this comic as much as the others. I think I like them best when they are just ponies.

Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for providing me with a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review!
