Fable of Happiness
by Pepper Winters
4.5 ✨
So Pepper Winters picks me up right from the cliff she left me dangling over. Let me just say, this woman knows how to tease me. In book two, the mystery and intrigue continues at an all time high. I’m desperate to know more about Kassen’s history. There’s so much to unravel and with every page I learned a new thing while left questioning another. It did have its slower moments in this book but I feel that’s all a part of the plan. This is kind of story I just got absolutely consumed by and lost in but I didn’t want to be found. Like Gemma, I found myself entranced and unable to let go. Like with the last book, Pepper Winters decided to torture me once again with a chest clutching cliff that has me eagerly yearning for book three like last week!
