"Forgetting something doesn't change it"

I have unlocked an adulting hack - finishing my weekly chores by listening and finishing a collection of poetry! I get what I need done and I get to take back some time for myself!

I really loved the first half of this poetry collection - about family, home, war, migration, displacement, land - they hit. Below are the ones that stand out and that I want to revisit.

The Interviewer Wants to Know About Fashion
After Iraq Sweidan
They Both Die on Mondays and April
Topography
Half-life in Exile
In Jerusalem
Brute
Strike Air
Interactive Fiction: Windows
Naturalised
Spoiler

The last quarter especially is about infertility and difficulty conceiving, I imagine for people that have similar experiences they would be impactful, for me personally, as someone not really interested in biologically having children, it's not a topic I connect with, so I preferred the earlier poems.

Overall, keen to read more of her!
