This was super duper sweet and I did enjoy it. I love a queer story and the slow burn was absolutely adorable. I'm mostly taking off 1.5 stars because I found Leah a little bit hard to follow as a protagonist. She was -too- believable a teenager and as someone with a developed frontal lobe I didn't fully enjoy being in her brain and being angry at everything all the time. She was still a loveable character in her own right and following her story was sweet, but at points when she was being cruel to her mom or mad at Abby it was hard to enjoy her presence. Otherwise this was incredibly sweet and well written.
