springcry 's review for:
Rich Dad, Poor Dad
by Robert T. Kiyosaki
It's marketed as a finance book for beginners, but it strikes me as more of a 'mindset-changing' book more than a purely finance book. After all, the author discusses a lot about earning assets through real estate and through investments but doesn't delve deeply into it at all. Instead, Robert Kiyosaki emphasizes the importance of truly achieving financial independence through initiative and through investing in yourself. Ultimately, while the latter chapters weren't quite as informative as the first, I found a lot to learn in the book.
