I don't think any book has ever hit me this hard before, i don't think anything has ever made me cry this much. At least not in the last few years. This book is real, it's human, it's raw. I don't really read modern fiction but i gave in when i kept getting recommended it and i don't regret it for a moment. It deserves every ounce of praise it gets and more. This hit at all the sore spots, at the most painful angles. I never felt so seen, so felt for. This is why representation matters so much. I bled and wept with this book. It's beautiful, it's emotional, it's human. It made me want to read more, it made me to write, it made me want to love unapologetically. Gorgeous!
