Woof. This book is messed up. I feel like I need to talk to someone about it. It's a great critique of the special kind of capitalism that keeps us just accumulating empty material possessions for no reason. I think it also has a lot to say about gender roles and sexism as well. I found myself sucked in, and I do think it could have been a bit shorter, but I thought this was well done. If you like Black Mirror-esque plots and a book full of characters who are (mostly) very hard to like, check this one out.
