I really liked many things about this book, especially reading an accurate portrayal of anxiety disorder and panic attacks, but I hated the romance so much. So. Much. Poor dynamics between the main and their love interest often ruins otherwise perfectly awesome books for me. It's exhausting. I'm hoping this will improve in the second one, but based on the synonpis, I'm worried I'm in for the same "look he's using emotional manipulation and mind games to disguise the fact that he's actually just vulnerable and misunderstood!"
