What a behemoth of a book. I mean I listened to this and even then holy shit... It did not need to be that long, but at the same time, I respect that it was, and there wasn't a whole lot that felt unnecessarily dragged out.

This book was genuinely so creepy and I'm not talking about the fucking clown. The people in this are a lot scarier than any supposed monster - but no yeah there was some freaky shit too lol.

I went into this blind, I mean I've known of the story but no details, and wow, I'm glad I did. It made me feel like a kid again, but in all the worst ways, the ways of unknowing and uncertainty, but I liked that.

There are a fair number of dubious and uncomfortable scenes in this book, some that made my eye twitch and I just had to power through... Yeah, that's all I have to say about that.

I really wasn't expecting the very bones and soul of this to come down to cosmic reckoning (my god I got whiplash), but it was a nice surprise, especially as I went into this book thinking that it was not much more than a clown ghost. Boy, was I wrong.

I do think it was worth my time.
