My favorite of the three I've read so far. In this volume, King realizes much of the potential of Roland's world as he unfurls more of the quest for the Dark Tower. A lot of Tolkien's influence comes through (especially with riddles) and it leaves you very interested in continuing on the quest with Roland and company. I'm glad I don't have to wait six years to find out what happens next!
