I really REALLY need to start reading the full synopsis of books instead of just reading the first half or skimming it. I was expecting a rom-com like book about pen pals who started in grade school and were currently in high school. Instead, I got something that basically came off of Wattpad or a spin-off of Euphoria. The story was interesting enough and I could empathize with Ryen and who she really was deep down as a person in her letters to Misha and who she portrayed herself to be in order to survive the hierarchies of high school.
