This memoir read like a novel yet overflowed with the life-changing truth of the gospel- the good news of Jesus Christ. I liked reading about the struggle that persisted among academia as questions about absolute truth, life after death, forgiveness, grace, and unconditional love were discussed among believers and non-believers alike. Why do some deny Jesus while others acknowledge him? A quote from G. K. Chesterton resonated with me:"The Christian ideal has not been tried and found wanting; it has been found difficult and left untried. "
