Spells, Strings, and Forgotten Things
by Breanne Randall
Lots of spells and magic. Loved the tea and books shop. The string connections and bonding of Calliope and Lucien were confusing. Same for the Dark Oak. Of course, Calliope and Lucien's romance started out with Calliope getting mad at everything Lucien said or did, then they'd get along and almost get together. Then she would get mad again and they'd split apart. When they finally connected they had firey sex. This is so typical of most romance in modern novels. This is why I don't read romance novels. The sappy romance could have been left out and the book would have survived. It was an ok book but I probably won't read another one by this author.
