I saw an article recently that said no one pays attention to author blurbs on books anymore, but when I saw Stephen King’s simple quote saying “I loved it.” I knew this was going to be good! Hidden Pictures takes the clichéd plot of a live-in babysitter who notices something afoot in the family she works with, but takes a fresh twist on it that I really appreciated. The story is well-paced and interesting, and takes a surprisingly evidence-based approach to discussing addiction!
