Didn't really have much psychoanalysis or anything but I felt SUCH strong feelings of repulsion and grossness that no other book has evoked in me that strongly of an emotion.
I love how primal and feral they depict the people, and how even in the shittiest circumstances, there can be something good as long as you preservere.. it all depends on your mindset.
"There's beauty in filth".
