This is so different from what I usually read but I can easily say that it’s now one of my top 5 favorite books in the last 5 years. it pulled me in right away.
I listened to the audiobook which had different voice actors for all the different POVs and I’m so glad I read it this way first (because I WILL be reading it again, no doubt about it). It felt like a rock documentary you’d watch on TV, but so so much better because the writing is SO wonderful. It painted such vivid characters and I found myself caring about each one of them so much. I hurt when they hurt, I was excited when they were excited. It really transported me into their lives and honestly...isn’t that what books are supposed to do?
I definitely recommend giving the audiobook a listen but I will definitely be ordering a hard copy of this as well.
