๐˜›๐˜ฉ๐˜ณ๐˜ถ๐˜ฎ was a WILD RIDE. It is unhinged in the BEST possible way. You feel the FMCโ€™s confusion and uncertainty and anxietyโ€”I love a book that makes me really feel things! I absolutely loved this book, and I was hooked right from the beginning.

Meg Smitherman developed the plot quickly, and kept the tension going through the whole novella. She made me buy into and care about the characters to the point that Iโ€™m still thinking about them, and I finished the book a week ago!  She also kept me guessing- I was making predictions throughout but I definitely did NOT see some things coming (iykyk).

I loved how I got to follow Amiโ€™s (FMC) thought process and how she tries to deal with and rationalize everything that occurs. Dorian (MMC) is a super hot alien-being and I am thoroughly obsessed with him! You will be too, trust me.

๐˜›๐˜ฉ๐˜ณ๐˜ถ๐˜ฎ is out on August 13th, and you should absolutely pre-order it now! I would really recommend this book for pretty much anyone, because the psychological aspect of the book was so engaging; the horror/sci-fi/romance genre mashup was a brilliant combo!

Our FMC Ami wakes up after being held in stasis, only to find that she is the only member of the crew who is still alive. She has to decide what to do next, and after sending out a call for help, she is rescued by a *being* named Dorian. Dorian brings her on board his ship, and things really start moving from there. I wonโ€™t say anything else, because you should just read the book to experience it for yourself!
