As I said on the preceding book review, this should be 1 book not a duology. Having every second chapter being a full-blown sex scene pads a lot of the word count, and I expected this to be a romantic fantasy rather than bdsm erotica.
It's great to see the characters being in an established relationship where everyone supports them instead of falling into a pitfall of romantic sequels where characters are forcibly separated or someone is meddling in the relationship for a cheap drama effect.
I liked how the plots were wrapped up and the main characters are quirky and interesting, but I felt the book dragged on in a way.
