Sorrow and Bliss by Meg Mason

5.0

I don’t really know how else to describe this book other than it was so up my alley, both in how it is told: dual timelines, no-plot-just-vibes; and the themes explored: marriage in crisis, motherhood, sisterhood, mental health, identity crisis, feeling the weight of the world. Everything was explored in tangibly honest, raw ways, making me feel seen and resonate deeply with Martha. Ultimately, I just simply love this book. I get it and it gets me. What a perfect sad girl novel.
