Hellblazer, Vol. 3: The Fear Machine by Jamie Delano

4.0

This was a lot of fun and was much more enjoyable than the previous volume. Here, you have the series at its finest. You have more character development than plot and just enough of it to keep it interesting.

What brings me back every time is that this series reads more like a novel than a comic book. There is lengthy inner dialogue which add to the story more than quick plot development. I find myself WANTING to know what Constantine is thinking. I want to be inside his depressing little head.

The art in this book is superb. Characters seem alive and unique. I have already ordered the next volume. I am surprised I'm loving this series as much as I have.
