This book honestly moved me in ways I didn’t expect. All About Love by bell hooks is powerful, emotional, and incredibly honest. I’m giving it five stars without a doubt.

Reading it brought up so many memories and feelings. It made me stop and think deeply about love… what it really means, how we experience it, and how often we confuse it with other things. hooks talks about love in a way that’s real and open. She writes about all kinds of love, romantic, family, friendships, and the love we give ourselves.

In a world that seems to care more about what we have than who we are, this book is a much-needed reminder of what truly matters. It made me realise how disconnected we can become from real love…  love that is based on honesty, care, trust, and respect.

What I loved most is how honest and human the writing feels. It’s not preachy or complicated. It’s like having a deep, heart-to-heart chat with someone who truly gets it.

All About Love is the kind of book I think everyone should read at least once. It has the power to change the way we see love, and maybe even the way we live.
